Co-Parenting Agreements
(provided by Coast to Coast Mediation Center)
1)Each parent agrees to have the children bathed, dressed, and fed, before the other one picks them UP.
2)Each parent agrees to spend some time going over homework with the children, before returning them to the other parent.
3)One parent agrees to contact the schools and instruct them to send copies of all correspondence to both parents.
4)If one parent is shopping for the children's school clothes, the other agrees to shop for and purchase all clothing related to the children's extracurricular activities, including sports, scouts, etc.
5)Both parents agree to refrain from saying anything negative about the other within earshot of the children.
6)Both parents agree that the children should have a real home with each of them, and that neither should just have "visitation" with the children. Each parent provides a home that has some of the children's furniture, clothes, personal care items, games, and books.
7)Both parents agree to post a calendar in a place where the children can see it, showing everyone's schedule. With children too young to read, a picture of Mom or Dad on the calendar can indicate whose turn it is to take care of the them.
