Description of Services

My approach to counseling or psychotherapy revolves around creating a supportive, collaborative relationship where problems can be addressed and realistic goals are established.  Getting to know the whole person, not just the symptoms is critical to creating an effective treatment plan.  My way of working with people is highly integrative, combining strategies from Behavioral-Cognitive, Bioenergetic, Humanistic, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, and Spiritual, in a manner that best fits the individual's needs. I work with individuals, couples, families or groups.  The type of issues dealt with include: Severe anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety and post-traumatic stress; Childhood and adolescent anxiety; Stress- related depression; Relationship difficulties - couple, marital, family or work-related; and Life-transitions.
