One of the most experienced divorced mediators in Connecticut, Michael Becker's practice is limited exclusively to divorce mediation. Michael is an attorney and former accountant, and has completed substantial Master's Degree-level coursework in marriage and family therapy. Michael mediates all or part of divorce settlements, trial separations and post-divorce modifications, including property division, child support, alimony, and parenting. He guides clients through all aspects of the process, beginning to end, and can draft the necessary court documents. Michael is a founding Director and two-time President of the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation, and is an ACR Advanced Practitioner Member - the highest level designation. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Law at both the University of Connecticut Law School and at Quinnipiac University Law School.
