Description of Services

The Christian Family Counseling Center is pleased to be one of the Focus on the Family Counselor Referral service members.  We provide counseling for families, couples and individuals who are struggling with life's problems. Our Therapists hold at least a Masters level degree and are licensed by the State of Florida. Some of the services available at CFCC: Therapy for men that struggle with inappropriate sexual behaviors; Critical Incident Stress Management for those who have been exposed to severely stressing incidents; Dealing with divorce and the aftermath, especially where children are concerned; Child custody evaluations; Mediation in divorce and child custody cases; Resolving marriage conflict; Learn how to co-parent after a divorce; and Learn how to have a healthy step-family. Is Divorce The Answer? Before you can answer this question there are several facts you should know. If you are going to divorce, you owe it to yourself and your children to know what lies ahead. You can be certain your friends will not tell you the entire truth. They are long on advice, but remember, they don't know you, they don't know your situation, they don't know your family. They are long on advice, but then they don't have to live with the consequences of their advice. Only you can make that decision. Divorce may be the answer, but you can't really know until you have all the facts. We have a five session program that will explain what that lies ahead when divorce is filed. After you have all the information, you can then make an informed decision. We can even offer you names of attorneys if you desire.
