Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia strives to preserve and strengthen the well-being of individuals and families within the community in order to promote a healthier society through easy access to professional services. WHAT WE DO: Individual, Marital and Family Therapy; Victim Counseling; Families In Transition; Family Strengths Program; Adoption and Custody Home Evaluations; Family Investment Center; and Jones County Programs. Family Counseling Center is a private, non-profit agency established in 1957 by the Junior League of Macon and the United Way of Central Georgia to help strengthen individuals and families in times of stress. The center has Masters level, licensed therapists, trained in marriage and family therapy, social work and psychology. Their credentials (LMFT, LMSW & LPC) and training assure the highest quality of service. The clinical staff adheres to the code of ethics of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
