Peggy has been the sole owner of Priority Planning, a tax preparation and financial services practice since 1986. She added her divorce planning business in 2003. In order to devote all her time to this new endeavor she sold her entire financial planning practice in May, 2005. Peggy's focus today is centered on assisting divorcing clients with financial matters with a specialization in forensic accounting. Among the major accomplishments in her career, she taught in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS program for 14 years and she is past president of the Greater Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners (1999-2000). Peggy received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in finance at Mundelein College and a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A) at Loyola University. Among her professional credentials and designations are passing the Certified Public Accounting exam in 1981, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certificate (1985) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) in 2003. She is also an 18 year member of the Financial Planning Association, a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), a member of the Association of Illinois Divorce Professionals and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Peggy has appeared in a expert capacity on many television and radio shows and has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, Mutual Funds Magazine and Financial Planning magazine. She enjoys public speaking and never turns down an invitation to promote financial planning to the public or to speak to her colleagues on more technical matters.
