Mark C. Morgan has a diverse practice, including to family law, divorce, custody, child support, alimony, separation, as well as municipal law, voting rights/redistricting defense, construction litigation, employment law, commercial transactions, regulatory law, and criminal defense. Mr. Morgan has handled thousands of cases has been recognized for his exceptional talent in the Court room. His is the winner of the Wisoki Award for Trail Advocacy. Mr. Morgan is a former Assistant District Attorney, were he earned a 100% conviction rate, never losing a jury trial. He has served as Special Counsel to the Attorney General, Magistrate Pro Tempore for Gretna City Court, and Judge Pro Tempore for Division B of the Second Parish Court for Jefferson Parish. Mr. Morgan is currently serving as the Gretna City Attorney. He serves as an adjunct professor at Tulane University Law School, teaching Trial Advocacy for the past 15 years. Mr. Morgan represents the cities of Gretna, Harvey, and Terrytown on the Jefferson Parish School Board, and was elected President of the School Board in 2008 and currently serves as the Board's Vice President.
