Professional Experience and Expertise: Ryan specializes in working with divorced individuals throughout Maine and Massachusetts. He works closely by collaborating with family law attorneys in all phases of the divorce process to ensure thorough communication and proactive solutions are delivered in every relationship. Divorce can often involve dividing things such as brokerage accounts, retirement accounts, stocks, bonds, preferred stock, mutual funds, stock options, annuities, CD's and cash. Ryan works with the attorneys and CPA's involved to provide a better understanding of the assets in question and potential implications for you, the client. Helping clients understand their wealth and prioritizing their short and long term goals is something that takes place at the outset of the relationship. Ryan then works closely with clients to guide them through the practical steps of identifying their needs and concerns, risk tolerance, and time horizon as it relates to their new financial situation. This involves imprint tasks including the management of a financial settlement, developing a budget, and most importantly, regularly reviewing a detailed financial plan and investment progress. Ryan's strong background in mathematics and economics facilitate the level of advice, knowledge, and performance that accompany every client relationship and financial decision. For most, personal and financial situations, and goals can change as a result of being divorced, and preparing for what lies ahead by properly managing expectations allows the client to live a rewarding and comfortable life. Ryan holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation as well as NASD securities licenses 7 & 66, and is a registered insurance agent. He is a graduate of Stonehill College with a degree in Mathematics and Economics. Ryan is also an active board member of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., in both the Boston and Scituate Chapters.
