Andrea E. Hirsch has practiced family law since 1996. Her practice includes pre-nuptial and ante nuptial agreements; divorce and separation matters involving custody and child support, property division, and spousal support; co-habitation agreements; and adoptions. She also provides representation in adult guardianship and conservatorship matters. She brings clients her extensive experience in collaborative law and mediation—for negotiated, non-judicial settlements—as well as in litigation in court. She also comes with the sensitivity, attention and understanding that the highly charged, emotional issues accompanying family discord require and deserve. While some sharply contested cases must go to court, many other cases can benefit from an alternative procedure that reduces expenses, insulates children from the conflict, and results in a more durable, satisfying agreement and Ms. Hirsch ensures that her clients select the process with which they will be most comfortable.
