Deckelbaum Ogens & Raftery, Chartered, our Bethesda-based law firm, was incorporated in 1977. Our attorneys take on both “fault” and “no-fault” divorce cases, and represent clients throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. From our law firm’s office located in Bethesda, Maryland, above the Metro stop and near public bus service, we handle every aspect of your divorce, including: child support terms; child visitation terms; child custody agreements; marital property settlements and alimony/rehabilitative spousal support. Another option to attempt to amicably resolve your divorce without the necessity of antagonistic litigation is to try the mediation process. Three of our attorneys are trained in collaborative law and are certified court-sanctioned mediators. Our Bethesda law firm has three on-site conference rooms that we use for mediation sessions. Many clients are choosing mediation to resolve their no-fault divorces because they find mediation to be faster and less costly than litigation. In many situations, our clients are able to maintain more control over the outcome of their divorce than they would have if all of the important decision-making was left in the hands of a judge.
