A good resource for mediation in this area is the Orange County Dispute Settlement Center. Our firm handles domestic matters in Orange and Chatham Counties. Occasionally, we will go to Durham and Wake. Most courts have their own programs called "Family Court" and those programs can vary from county to county so it may be in your best interest to obtain an attorney in whatever county you and the children reside. "Family Court" was initiated to make the judicial process for domestic case quicker.
