As a divorce counselor, I understand that divorce is an earthquake, a tornado, a tsunami - all happening at once. Divorce devastates and shatters the dreams of a life together and marks the end of the love and care both partners felt in the past. I understand about the devastating emotional aftermath of divorce and the radical change in our identity and our life - in all of its dimensions. I will help you and support you while you confront all your feelings - shock, anger, deep hurt, depression, sadness, fear, anxiety, loneliness - and I will help you to begin to visualize glimpses of a new life - new possibilities - by reminding you of your inner resources, strength, determination and self-worth. Reaching out to others and getting all the help you need is the first step in your healing and recovery. You do not need to go through this alone. English and Spanish.
