The Firm traces its beginning back to 1976 in Kingston, New York State's first capital. In an area rich in history and tradition, we maintain offices in an historic building conveniently located across from the County Courthouse and around the corner from the Family Court Building. We are open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
Matrimonial and Family Law are the primary areas of our law practice. In addition, we provide Wills, Estates, Trusts, and Corporate services to our clients, as well as representation for real estate transactions. We also provide Matrimonial and Family Law Mediation services to attorneys representing clients in contested matters. Our attorneys are licensed to practice in Florida as well as New York, giving the Firm the ability to provide legal services for clients in both states. Our Florida Office is located at Suite 2626, One Financial Plaza, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33394 (telephone 954/523-7877).
The Firm has maintained the highest ("av") rating awarded by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory since 1990. Our staff has been trained to assist you in evaluating and resolving the issues you face in your legal matters.
Howard's primary area of practice is Matrimonial and Family Law. He is the founder of the Firm and has been admitted to practice in New York since 1973 and Florida since 1983. He began practicing in Kingston in 1976 and has previously maintained law offices in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has been a faculty member of many continuing legal education programs in both New York and Florida, and has appeared as a television show panelist discussing marital agreements. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, and Florida Bar Family Law Section, and is a past Secretary and Director of the Ulster County Bar Association.
Ariel Raab, Esq.Ariel devotes her practice exclusively to Matrimonial and Family Law matters, including Mediation of contested matrimonial and Family Court cases and contested Estate matters. She has been admitted to practice in Florida since 1979 and New York since 1981. She has also maintained law offices in Fort Lauderdale. She is an approved Law Guardian for the Third Judicial District and a member of the Florida Bar and Ulster County Bar Association. Ariel is Managing Shareholder of the Firm
