Laura L. Schantz is an experienced family law attorney. Her law office is located in the Tanasbourne area off of the 185th exit from Highway 26. She offers her services as a strong advocate for the rights of her clients. She also serves as an "Indian Guide" charting a course for her clients through the legal process of divorce, custody, adoption, and other family law proceedings. EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND: Laura Schantz graduated from Northwestern School of Law Lewis and Clark College in 1994, number 6 in her class. While in law school she served on the law review for two years, a prestigious assignment, only available to law students with the highest grades or writing skills. After law school and passing the Oregon State Bar she worked for the law firm Martin Elliott and Snell, and for the law firm Gevurtz Menashe Larson and Howe, a big family law firm. Laura can bring her clients professional, qualified service. Yet, because she is now in practice for herself, she is able to adjust her fees and case load to a moderate level since she is no longer tied to the "big firm" overhead. Laura is licensed in the state of Oregon and Washington. ADVOCACY: Laura Schantz is an experienced court room attorney who will go to battle for her clients if necessary.
