You're going through a difficult time, or you wouldn't be here. Positive Change Mediation (PCM) understands, and is committed to making your transition as easy as possible, mindful of the long-term impact of your decisions. Typically, clients initially come for a separate, individual meeting. There they are more free to air their concerns and clarify their needs before a joint meeting. Most clients then complete the entire mediation process within 2-3 1 1/2-2 hour joint meetings. Scheduling is flexible; evening and weekend appointments are welcome. Clients are surveyed, and consistently respond PCM is fair, improves their family communication, is worth their time, and they would recommend PCM's services. Dana Greyson, Washington State Certified Mediator, and Principal of PCM, completed a 9-month internship with Clackamas Family Court Services and ran Vista Family Services mediation program at Innovative Services Northwest prior to establishing her private practice. Additionally she trained at two Washington State family mediation programs shadowed several Washington State family mediation centers, and is trained in Collaborative Practice. She's also trained and experienced in Parent-Teen mediation. In November 2007, she traveled to Australia, visiting several Family Relationship Centres and a best-practices meeting, to explore first-hand the advanced, child-focused family mediation, rolling out country-wide there. She's also authored Vancouver Family Magazine's monthly advice column since July 2007. PCM strives to stay updated, regularly researching, reviewing and using tried-and-true as well as the latest effective methodology and information to provide you and your family the best service possible.
