The leading case in the area is In re Marriage of Damico, 7 Cal. 4th 673, 872 P.2d 126, 29 Cal. Rptr. 2d 787 (1994), wherein the Supreme Court of California held that concealment of the custodial parent and the child from the noncustodial parent until the child is an adult precludes child support payments that the custodial parent may seek to collect.
