Grandparent Rights to Visitation:

Visitation may be granted when the grandparent has established a substantial relationship with the child.

When Adoption Occurs:

Adoption terminates all rights.

Child Custody Statutes:

Best interest of child considering:

1. wishes of parties;
2. wishes of child;
3. interaction and interrelationship between the child and parties, siblings and other significant persons;
4. adjustment to home, school and community;
5. mental and physical health of all persons involved;
6. need to promote continuity and stability in the child's life; and
7. any history of domestic violence.
