In actions for divorce, separation, annulment, separate maintenance, or any other proceeding where there is at issue a dispute as to the custody of a minor child, the court may award visitation to grandparents in the court's discretion unless it is shown that the visitation would not be in the child's best interest.Title 571, Section 571-46.2 (H.R.S. §571-46.2).
