Divorce Professionals: About Divorce Arbitrators:

Another avenue available to choice is that of arbitration. An 'arbitrator' is a neutral third party who will be presented with the cases of both sides and reach conclusions with regards to specific issues that will be incorporated into a particular court judgment. The primary difference between mediation and arbitration is the fact that, unlike mediation, there is no room for actual negotiation. An arbitrator's decision, for example, what a particular business is actually worth, will be final. Although arbitrators are sometimes more expensive than attorneys, their main function is to eliminate actual court time and therefore is often in the long run the most cost effective solution.
