In 2005, after more than 20 years as a lawyer, I began my training in divorce mediation and Collaborative Family Law, logging hundreds of hours in training and practice. I pulled a 180 on my approach to divorce. I learned that couples can separate peacefully with the help of trained, caring professionals and a round table.

I made the decision to narrow my focus to helping couples through collaborative law and divorce mediation. I learned about the techniques and processes, honed my active listening skills, and began this new journey.

My goal is to help each person that walks in my door access their best selves and find the professional that can best help them through a difficult process (whether or not that is me).

Each couple knows what their family needs, they just don’t know how to get there. All we do is provide the round table, and they are able to have the difficult conversations, devise solutions, and move forward.
