Christie Lyman Dowling is an attorney and mediator with more than a decade of experience, most recently as a partner in one of the largest law firms in Alabama.

As a thoughtful Birmingham divorce attorney, she is caring and compassionate with the experience to handle even the most complex family and financial issues.

Ms. Lyman Dowling is a volunteer mediator in the Jefferson County Courts and a certified guardian ad litem.

Ms. Lyman Dowling is also specially trained and registered as a domestic relations mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution, which was established by the Alabama Supreme Court.

Most recently Ms. Lyman Dowling has been trained as a collaborative divorce lawyer pursuant to the standards set by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is a founding board member of the Birmingham Collaborative Alliance.
