Compassionate Mediation and Family Law Advice in New Hampshire and Vermont
Ora Schwartzberg, Attorney at Law, P.C., is a firm committed to helping people resolve family conflicts peacefully and respectfully. Our practice emphasizes the use of mediation and collaborative law as the best ways to handle divorce and its related issues. After more than 25 years of serving families in New Hampshire and Vermont, we have found that these methods lead to outcomes that are much more satisfying for parents and children than anything a court battle would produce. About Us
The law firm of Ora Schwartzberg, Attorney at Law, P.C., is unique to New Hampshire in that its focus is exclusively on Family Law. Unlike most law firms, we do not do everything. We know Family Law!
The firm has extensive experience handling of complex high asset and difficult parenting cases, many of which have been and are presently being litigated in the New Hampshire Courts. Although serious attempts are always made to settle cases by negotiating with opposing counsel or in mediation, some cases cannot be equitably resolved, unless we go to court. Ironically our reputation for expertise in the courtroom is often an instrumental factor in bringing our adversaries to the table. Areas of Practice
Divorce: We help couples resolve divorce and all related issues, such as:
- Child custody and visitation, parenting plans and child support - Property division - Post-divorce modifications of child support, alimony and child custody orders - Same-sex divorce Collaborative Law: In collaborative law, both spouses agree they will not litigate the divorce, but will work together (with their lawyers) for an agreement they can both agree to. Mediation: Attorney Ora Schwartzberg is a certified marital mediator and superior court mediator. She can serve as an independent mediator for your divorce or she can represent you in the divorce mediation process. Unbundled Legal Services: Do you want to handle parts of your divorce? We can explain which forms you need and answer your questions about the forms. By doing this, you may be able to significantly lower the cost of your divorce. |
