About Us
Nancy Stassinopoulos was born in New York and grew up in New Hampshire and Maine. She graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she was an Editor of the Law Review and in the top 10% of her class. After she was admitted to the New York Bar in 1975, she practiced in the areas of animal law and municipal law for five years, before moving to San Diego in 1980. She was admitted to the California Bar in December 1980 and soon became involved in Family Law, establishing her own law firm in 1984.
