John was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School, received a BA degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and then John attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law graduating in 1977.

Although John strongly believes it is usually in the best interest of his clients and their children to resolve all issues that are incident to the ending of their marriage by mutual agreement and outside the adversarial Court process, he understands that unfortunately, this is not always possible. John has extensive experience in litigating such issues, as well as in negotiation, mediation, and the Collaborative divorce process. John can assist you in resolving all these issues through whatever process may be required.
