Jody holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as having Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Public Accountant CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) while also being a member of the American Association of Individual Investors. He has extensive experience in estate planning and has valuated companies for estate and gift purposes. He has also testified in court on valuation of operating companies and medical practices and was a founder and past president of the Estate Planning Council of Gainesville.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a past president of the local chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jody has assisted in various contract negotiations for the sale and/or purchase of numerous businesses and is also certified through the Supreme Court of Florida as a Family Mediator. He is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. Jody has also arbitrated small to multi-million dollar disputes.
