Sounds like both sides are going to claim they were abused, but deny acting abusively, without "proof." How does that affect a custody struggle?

Does bringing up accusations without proof hurt the accuser?

Do the counter accusations sort of cancel each other out?

Do they benefit a woman more often than a man (all other "proof" being equal) due to presumption/bias?

Not saying the OP is lying or that the ex is truthful...just that if both sides' claims appear equal (and equally unprovable) in court, what typically happens?
