Some of the guys on this board are just beyond rude. I swear more than half of it is because nolonger is a woman and the other half is because they have to be right all the time. I dont think you could have done anything right without them crying poor dad. Sometimes stuff happens - no cell service etc. I try and carry my phone with me the entire time the kids are with their dad for emergenies. Even then I sometimes miss a call.
I do think (im assuming) that Maury just meant that what your ex did was wrong but not abuse. I would still post it here tho because it is harrassment and you are asking advice regarding it. Heck half the posts on the Step family board are off topic. I do respect his opinion tho. I would have done either a letter or a police report depending - its totally up to you and your lawyer.
