sorry to say in my opion if anyone hits you they should not get away with it and although it may be a deal breaker(end of marrige) I would not let them get away with it, once they start it is a sign of abuse and you might be a big gorilla and the other a fawn but abuse is abuse and not to taken lightly, my soon to be ex started the same on me and then claimed i hit her put bruises on her arm and had a restraining order on me just to get me out of the house, it was her plan all along she would pick the fight then claim the victum.watch out protect yourself.
