Talking to Marriage Counselor

My wife and I are talking to a marriage counselor about all of the issues I am bring up on the forum. She is insistant that I do not bring up or hold over her head the violence she has done to me. I have been honest and told the truth.
Is the counselor going to take the children away? How does this judgement made?
