Still Planning on Action Plan for Violent Wife

So currently my wife and I are living in the lower level of my parents house. She has been physically violent with me on more than a dozen occasions. She is about 6 months pregnant and I want to leave her because of her violent outbursts. I am concerned about the welfare of the new baby. She doesn't have an enviroment suitable, OBV IMO, for raising the child. I want to continue living with my parents in the lower level and remove her from it as soon as the baby is born. I want custody and I don't want to pay child support.
We met in San Diego, we married in Vegas and curently are residing in Milwaukee, WI.
I am planning on divorcing my wife after the baby is born. She has no where to go besides back to california to live with relatives, no degree that will help her get a job and has no money.
I am concerned that when the baby is born she will leave within a couple of months back to California.
Is there something that SHE CAN DO TO ME to prevent me from stopping her take the baby back to California once she has it in Wisconsin?
So far we have her 11 year old step daughter living with us and going to a local School. We have a joint bank account registered in Wisconsin. We have state insurnace and welfare.
Today I just accepted a teaching position with the Public School system and will be the only one who will be able to afford the child/lifestyle.
What do you think will most likely happen with child support?
Is spousal support out of the question?
How expensive is this going to be?
Can I do this all my self with the right resources?
