CS is typically based on income, so the CP's portion will be a percentage, not necessarily half. If the CP typically was never earning what the NCP earns, nor could they, expecting them to pay 50% would be unreasonable IMO. But they DO have some portion that should be attributed to them. And then, they may be attributed more, they may earn more than the NCP.
