How long does it take for CS office to determine?

DH submitted ppwk to have child support reviewed (got custody last year and currently no cs order set up). CS office has confirmed receipt of ppwk but said it could take 3-6 months to determine if a review needs to take place. Is this the time line we should expect? I usually call every couple of weeks, and get different answers from different reps - only one rep has told me that time line (probably because she saw how much I've called in their notes lol).
