A few questions re: CS in NY State.
Is there a reliable state calculator I can use? - the one's on the web seem to be all over the place.
I have two girls (almost 7 & 10) - Wife is divorcing me after HER affair.
I earn $155k a year - W earns approx $20k a year. She will get primary custody.
Questions :
1. It seems like NY State calculates a flat rate 25% of my gross salary (regardless of W's income), which I then pay net - and then does not take account any overnight's I have - is this true?
2. After $130k salary - it's up to the judge's discretion, do they typically stick to the 25%.
3. Is any spousal support I pay my W taken into account??
4. I've been told I need to pay out of pocket medical - does she not need to pay any?
5. I've been told I need to pay life insurance - my employes pays life insurance for me, is this sufficient provided the insured amount is high enough?
