Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the good advice. I didn't mean to stir any pots, just trying look out for the best interests of my son.
I'm seeing my lawyer again tomorrow and hopefully he can put a stop to any filing in CA since I'm only here for 2 weeks and am leaving this weekend to go back to Ohio.
By the way, I never said the father wanted to child support, I had only heard from a mutaul friend (who may not be reliable) that he wanted to get Primary to make sure that he doesn't have to pay support. The baby is already 4 months and I had no intention of filing for support. I choose to keep the baby, so that makes him my responsibilty no one elses.
FYI,
To this day the baby's father has not contacted me once to ask about his child. Even though I am in town it has not even crossed his mind to ask me to see the baby, which I would do in a heartbeat. Actions speak louder then a piece of paper asking for custody. I hope that a judge can see that the father does not have good intentions towards his son.
