Re: Medical Insurance

I don't know. As far as I know, there are no laws that say a spouse, husband or wife, has to keep medical insurance on each other or even kids unless its written as a divorce decree. Most of us have insurance to help in case of really expensive sudden medical problems in the family so we dont get bills that we don't pay.

I have the option on my insurance to cancel my kids and my STBX. I never even realized it wouldnt be hard to cancel it until they mailed me a letter and said mark any I want to take off . I wouldnt because its not the right thing to do until after the divorce is final IMO but if I was really as bitter and controlling as my wife claims I am I would in order to force her to wake up to reality and realize that the free ride is over without me, lol. I do not know your situation is though.

If she had physically cheated on me instead of just cyber-cheating, I possibly would have done that. I don't want to stoop to her level anyway. It doesnt cost me any more to have her on the retirement insurance anyway.
