I am on full disability with the army and received a lump sum due to my injuries, which I invested in building a house for me and my kids (I was a single dad). While I was building, I thought I met the woman of my dreams. I married her a week before we closed on the house. I found out she was a fraud and had lied to me about so many things. Three months later, she filed divorce, and now she is claiming that I forced her to quit her job to take care of me, and is trying to get a lot of money out of me. I live in a community property state. Could I lose it all since I closed on the house a week AFTER we married?
