My son is in the first grade (7 years old) His father and I have been divorced for almost three years. I have residental custody but we split most of our time with our son. My son goes to his fathers on Tuesdays and Thursdays (overnights) and every other weekend. My concern is that this year his grades are horrible, his behavior at school is not very good either,....teacher says he stays distracted, disruptive and at times disrespectful, he isnt completing class work and just has no motivation. I have spoken with his dad many of times regarding this matter and his father says that our son is "just bored" and it will work itself out. I am constantly studying with my son, reading, doing over homework that is sloppy or not correct. Dad however doesnt really back me on this. I am looking for some advice here, I was actually thinking maybe weekday vistation isnt such a good idea any longer,...????
