If you are in a no fault state the OW thing won't make any difference except where custody of children is concerned. The only reason that I can see for the attorney to want documentation of it is possibly to use it in deposition and see if x will lie about it. Use it for eroding credibility. I believe though JMHO that most judges, being human or almost, are like the rest of us. Show them a POS and they will recognize it. Possibly giving you a favorable position in their eyes. This could be beneficial in a contested scenario, ie. property etc. |
