None here. My parents (dad and smom) are very busy and live a couple of hours away. My bmom lives in the same town as I do, but she's gone most of the time with her job...and I wouldn't trust her with my kids anyway. My grandparents live locally, but they are both in poor health, and I don't call them for emergencies. They do keep the kids every Monday morning for 2 hours, since I have to leave for school so early.
Before I remarried, my emergency list included my next-door neighbor, my boss, and another single-parent (with no local family) that I met at the pool over the summer.
Now...the list includes DH, my boss, and another student's mom who is a SAHP. It's gotten easier as they kids have gotten older and I've met more parents. I'm not really friends (as in have dinners together type of friends) with anyone around here, but I'm friendly enough with other parents to trade favors every now and then.
