I am pushing for a divorce with my current wife. We have only been married for 1 year and 10 months. We have had problems with our marriage pretty much the whole time we have been married. I have been suffering from mental anguish from her, because she is a very insecure woman and constantly accusses me of sleeping around. I am trying to get her to divorce me here in Japan uncontested so that we can go about our lives and she can be sent back to the states. I am willing to play fair with her, with our finances and property, but she is refusing to get a divorce here and wait until she goes to Florida to live with her Aunt and Uncle. I feel helpless since I am stationed in Japan and she is a civilian, and is looking for a free ride as long as possible using my paycheck until she can find another husband, according to her. So if she goes to Florida, she has to wait 6 months before she can file according to the law there. How am I able to get a divorce faster than this, because I cannot stand the fact of being married to a bi-polar person who will try to use anything against me to make her look good?
