I have a couple of questions I am hoping you can help with.
1) Can my ex-husband use military equipment to run background checks on my friends. He has done this to one individual and refuses to give me detail because I do not have a Department of Defense Clearance. He is allowed to do this and if turned in, will he get in trouble for it? Can he legally run background checks on them without their authorization? Is this a form of harassment or intrappment?
2) He feels he has a right to full custody of our 6 yr old daughter because he has been "serving our country" for VOLUNTARILY deploying to the BAHAMAS for 2.5 yrs! Rough deployment, huh? Granted, her first year was in Kosovo and he is in Afghanistan now. But voluntarily deploying? Those 2.5 years missed were by choice. Does this give him automatic right to full custody when he has not proof of me being unfit?
He uses his MILITARY status to get everything he wants and I want to show him that he can not stand behind that uniform forever!
My main questions are in #1. Can he use gvt equipment for unauthorized personal use? Are there actions that can be taken against him if he does this? Can he legally run background checks on people without their authorization? Can he legally force me to give him names to do this?
