She has not been teased about it. She is in the 4th grade and developing faster than the other little girls. She does not wear shirts that show her underarms so the other kids do not know.
----->Teach her to use a razor. Make it a celebration of womanhood. Just you and her. Go to Target, let her pick out a brand of razor that tickles her fancy. Let her pick out her brand of shave cream.
That's the problem, she does not want womanhood. You should have heard her when I explained periods a few monthes ago. She said "mommy everyone else can have them but I don't want them so I'm not doin it". LOL! I have talked to her about shaving and she says she isn't shaving ever. She is afraid of cuuting herself. That's why we are trying to find the no-blade razors for her to help with the fear. My DH cut his face once, she asked what happened, and thats when she decided she wasn't shaving.
----->Just out of curiousity, why did you bring it up to Dad and SM?
Her dad and I have joint custody. We make all major decissions together. I felt shaving was a major decission because he might not agree with it yet and I did not want to jump and have her do it and have him feel left out of the decission. Not sure if that makes since!
