Can he refuse to paying the debt he owned me?

I am no longer in relationship with him. He have been using my creditcards to cover his needs that add up at least 8,000. I let him use one of my credit card that have maxium creditcard line 5,800. It was open avaliable balance of 5,800 and he need to cover total 4,500 to purchase. And he know that the inerest rate is at 27% He was willing to pay for that. Then again he begged me to use this credit card to fix his jeep to replace rebuilt transmission. It cost another 1170. Credit card have reach maxium alone. He only paying minium payment on that credit card in amount of 200. Most of money went to interest charges monthly and remaining left toward balance to pay off. It was very slow to get down. He was counting every dollars he paid to pay off the balance he owned. I see that what he was saying. I was having hard time to get him to listen me about interest charges. It charges monthly approx 140 interest...and remaining left balance approx 60 go to debt balance to get down. Now he stop paying and on top of that he also owning another debt credit cards....I am left there and had to pay those debt on my own because no longer in relationship with him. What can I do about it? I have saved every statements, reciepts.
