I agree with you Nancy. The reason I did not make any objections to my son and d-i-l is because I feel it was their wedding and not the day or time for his parents to be making any kind of statement. I chose to conduct myself so as not to flaunt anything in anyone's face, most of all my son's. I know it was appreciated by him and he often came over to my table during the reception to sit and chat for a few.STBX and OW were seated at the table next to mine and he did not sit with them once. Many times actions do speak louder than words. Not that it would have upset me had he sat with them.... I just think my son was making his own statement. |
