These were the most cureent statistics I could find. Although they are not broken down by age, race, so on, I believe the stats to be accurate.

Let me also reiterate, I am not anti marriage. I would certainly prefer to be a married person over an single mom with three small sons. But, if one is to remarry, just as others have said and I also agree, you must put forth much effort to overcome previous flaws that brought on the demise of the first marriage.
