Wow, Nancy. You've been divorced longer than you were married. I have to live a very, very long time for that to become a reality (don't expect to and that is perfectly okay by me!).
Glad to hear about your house. Sounds like a wonderful plan.
Interesting what you said about advice. That is how I always felt. I have little advice to impart to anyone although I will say that when anyone I know even hints of jokes about getting a divorce I do go into a little bit of a sermon about how marriage is so vitally important. Sometimes I think people act so hastily and don't even imagine what it is "really" like.
Like you, I am forever grateful to those people who have been by my side. And, you and the other members of this board made an intolerable time "tolerable."
