I appreciate your concern as to why I would but that's not the question I came here with. We all make decisions and live with them daily. I thought I was doing a good thing for my son by giving him time with his father and I trusted in the environment he would be left in.

I also made a promise to my son that I would not put him in the middle of our legal concerns and the requirements by exdh would place my son directly in the middle. So I sacrificed my own needs and wants to keep a promise I had made to my son.

I guess I should have posted on a message board that understood the role of a non custodial mother.
