Me and my wife were divorced in March of 2008 and a couple months later we decided to give it another try for the sake of our kid. We decided to buy a house (after we were divorced) and a year and a half later we called it quits for good. however, my wife's name is on the mortgage to the house and we have both come to the agreement that we want her off the mortgage but citi bank has made this impossible for the past year. they say we need to give them a property settlement from our divorce but we dont understand why since we bought the house after the divorce. If anyone has any advice please help!!
