Do all SAHP's do a lot? I'd dispute that in a second. Are there some who fit the image portrayed? Sure. But there are also plenty, who like my middle sister, have a husband who works out of the home, and when he comes home after work/before work, and weekends splits all the work accordingly with her. She's a SAHM for the 45 hrs a week he works, and then they are BOTH SAHP's equally for all the hours he is not at his job.
It comes down to choosing who you marry, and the quality of the individual in taking on that work.
