I would call her PO or whatever it is and make sure she is THERE (at your home) so she CAN (I'm sorry Miranda!!!!) be arrested and not having it be another x number of days hunt and peck session for the police to actually FIND the girl.
Sorry Spring.. this girl has no interest (it would seem) in helping herself. And while I'm not a religious person, the phrase "The Lord helps those who help themselves" springs (no pun intended sorry) to mind in her case.
Miranda is 1000% right. This girl will either learn the hard way or she will die. But she's not going to learn any other the way but the hard way. Some people don't.
